The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, Prince William and Princess Catherine have barely spent any time together at their home in north-west Wales since their April 29 wedding, watched by an estimated two billion viewers worldwide.


Prince William, second in line to the throne, is a Royal Air Force search and rescue helicopter pilot at a base on the island of Anglesey and needs to put in plenty of hours in order to become a captain. Princess Catherine is to spend time planning which charities Princess Catherine wants to become involved with and deepening her understanding of her husband Prince William's charitable interests.

Prince William, whose day job is a Royal Air Force search and rescue pilot in Anglesey, Wales, was taking part in a "waterbirding" exercise on Monday, midway through the British royal couple, Prince William and Princess Catherine's official visit, after arriving for a private reception in nearby Charlottetown, capital of Prince Edward Island, on Sunday evening.
